Westchester Chamber Soloists is Westchester County’s premier chamber orchestra and ensemble network and is the resident orchestra of Sarah Lawrence College (Reisinger Hall) in Bronxville, also performing each season in venues including the Purchase Performing Arts Center and others in central Westchester and the Rivertowns. WCS has been a staple of RiverArts Music Tours since 2018, enchanting audiences for entire afternoons and evenings with over 50 chamber music masterpieces by a diverse array of composers from Arensky and Dohnanyi to Poulenc and Piazzolla for all instrumental combinations. On the concert stage, WCS performs 7 concerts annually comprising great symphonic works, world premieres, multi-media performances including dance, film and visual arts, and great Concertos featuring its members as soloists, with a diverse array of illustrious guest conductors.
